Brown Bread Ice Cream

I looove this flavour ice cream, it’s one my Mom used to make a lot though this is not her recipe. This is taken from Rachel Allen’s Home Cooking. It’s very creamy ice cream, you wouldn’t need to serve it with any sauce or syrup. I also think it’s too rich to serve as an accompaniment. It’s perfectly delicious served on its own and merely scattered with a few extra caramelised brown bread crumbs.
